Mount Porras and SNP

Mount Porras with elevation more than 800 ft from the ground.
Less than 7 hours traverse trek from Brgy. Imparayan. Rafflesia flower along the trail. 
River crossing, 30  minute steep climb to expect. 
Mt. Porras is the heart of Sibalom Natural Park (SNP). 5,511.47 hectares protected area with 201 species of Flora and 152 species of fauna and still has 672 hectares of old forest. 
One of the few remaining rain forest in the country. 
From San Jose to Brgy. Impairing 1 hour and 30 minutes travel time. 
Walk in the park. You'll enjoy the grandeur.

Consider trekking in a small-medium group to minimize our impact.

Day 1:
8am: Departure to Municipality of Sibalom
9am: ETA at Sibalom
9:30am: ETD to Brgy. Imparayan
10am: ETA at Brgy. Imparayan,
10:30am: Start walking
12:30nn: ETA at Nestor place, Eat pack lunch
1pm: Continue Walking
1:30pm: ET of Passing the raflessia site
4pm: ETA at summit of Mt. Porras
5:30pm: ETA at Bgry. Cabladan (camp1)

Day 2:
6am: Wake-up call, Cook beakfast, Take a look in the lake.
8am: Start Walking
11am: ETA at the river
11:30am: Continue Waking
12nn: ETA at Brgy Imparayan, Eat lunch( porbida)
1pm: Departure to Sibalom


How to get there:

San Jose - Sibalom: P15 fare at Jeep
Sibalom- Brgy. Imparayan jeep leaves around 10am once a day
Sibalom - Brgy. Imparayan: P50 habal-habal (30mins trave time)
Guide fee: P150/day
Entrance fee: P20
